Naorem Mahesh Singh in advanced talks with East Bengal

Naorem Mahesh Singh is close to joining East Bengal for the upcoming season. The 20 year old Manipuri forward is close to signing for Indian giants East Bengal on a 3 year deal with an option for 2 more years. East Bengal manager Alejandro Mendendez identified Naorem as a long term signing to replace Joby Justin, and the deal barring extraordinary circumstances will be completed soon.

Naorem Mahesh Singh started his career with Birchandra Memorial Sporting Club in his home state before joining the Shillong Lajong youth academy. After a season of playing in the Shillong premier League, he was promoted to the senior squad at the start of the 2018-19 I-League season. He played in all 20 games and scored 4 goals, which isn't deplorable considering the fact that Shillong were relegated to the second tier. Under Alejandro, he will only continue to grow and maybe even surpass the level of Joby Justin.

In a bid to win that elusive ISL title, Mumbai City have bolstered their squad with a string of signings including Sarthak Golui from Pune City, Valpuia from Aizawl, Rowllin Borges from NorthEast United and Surchandra Singh from Real Kashmir, and the Mohun Bagan midfielder becomes the latest addition to their squad.

The 22 year old midfielder progressed through the Tata Football youth system and joined Mohun Bagan in 2016. He made his debut for the Mariners in the 2016 AFC Cup and made 4 appearances in the 2017-18 I-League season. ATK sign Soosairaj and Micheal Regin

ATK have bolstered their squad with the signings of brothers Soosairaj and Micheal Regin. 24 year old Soosairaj has been signed from Jamshedpur FC for a transfer fee of 90 lakhs while Micheal Regin joins the big spending Kolkata side on a free transfer.

They have already signed Jobby Justin and Salam Ranjan Singh from East Bengal and have now added two more versatile players to their squad.

Soosairaj is one of the best midfielders in the country so it's no surprise that ATK have spent big to sign him. Meanwhile, the lesser known brother Micheal Regin also joins ATK on a one year deal. Micheal Regin played in 8 games in Chennai City's title winning campaign last season and the midfielder impressed whenever he was on the pitch.
